Maintenance business process
GDIC not only produces gear box, but also undertakes the repair business of the corresponding products. Depot Repair 1.The two sides communicate with each other and preliminarily judge the quality problem, and then disassemble it (whether it is finally repaired or not, the expenses of disassembly and assembly will be incurred, ranging from 400-20000 yuan, which will be determined according to the product model size and difficulty of disassembly). 2.Take photos of the damage situation and make a test report. 3.Itemized quotation. The quotation includes disassembly and maintenance work hours cost, parts cost, cleaning cost, painting cost, assembly, packaging and transportation cost and profit. 4.After the customer agrees with the after-sales report and quotation, they need to sign the maintenance contract and formal maintenance starts. If the customer does not agree with the after-sales report and quotation, we will return the original product to the customer, and only charge the expenses of disassembly, assembly, cleaning and logistics. 5.As the maintenance products are mostly old products that have been used for a long time, many products will have their service life exhausted or have suffered injuries, so the after-sales warranty is half a year according to the industry rules. On-site maintenance 1.Before going to the site, customers need to provide the product nameplates and exchange products abnormal situation. (in order to prepare tools and accessories in advance) 2.Car travel and accommodation costs, taxi costs for on-site maintenance, without deviating from the actual medium price of 10%, on-site maintenance in accordance with the hourly rate per person.Time is calculated from departure. 3.The same charges are made on-site due to inadequate maintenance conditions or inadequate preparation of parts. The selection of gear box
The quality of a gear box is closed related with its model, therefore, we must choose a proper model to avoid any possible quality issues in advance. To this end, we must communicate thoroughly about the torque of the gear box with clients in the early stage, so as to acquire its load spectrum and determine whether the torque provided by the customer is equipped with safety factors. Besides, we will also figure out the working conditions of the gear box, including the impact, frequent startup, forward and reverse rotation, etc.; the required service life of the gear box should also be communicated in advance. More importantly, the stress condition of the gear box must be clear, and whether the output shaft of the gear box is subject to axial/ radial force, which will exert huge impacts upon the life span of gear box. After learning the answers to all the above questions, the selected gear box will work smoothly with few quality issues. As we all know, it is as important to use a product properly as manufacture it well.

The torque of gear box
From time to time our clients ask such a question about torque: how on earth torques of similar gear boxes of various brands could be so different, and the torque difference would reach 20%-50%, making it difficult for customers to select a proper model. For customers, both the imported brands and the domestic brands have this issue, and their torques could be quite different. For gear boxes with large torque, their genuine capacity is relatively small, making it rather risky to select a model according to the sample torque. On the other hand, customers encounter few quality issue in daily uses. Thus, customers may be quite confusing in this regard. As a matter of fact, the above issue might be incurred by a few reasons, to name a few important ones: the selected torque provided by the customer might have been enlarged in advance, while the actual torque in service is lower than the requirements of the selected torque; besides, gear box can satisfy the requirements in short term, however, it might fail to serve in long-term. Another possible factor is that the user` equipment is fluctuating in its load, while the event that torque is used in full is relatively rare. Additionally, it is likely that gear box manufacturers exaggerate the marked torque considering the highly competitive market, which might be another reason for the quality issue. The standards for marking torque adopted by different party might be different as well, resulting in distinct differences in torque.
